Brass Instruction We offer private lessons on all brass instruments (trumpet,trombone, french horn, baritone horn/euphonium, tuba). Beginning improvisational concepts are also covered with advanced students. Emphasis is on counting, rhythm reading. Special emphasis is placed on the physical aspects such as flexibility, tonguing, and range development. Our goal is to create well rounded players, so that the student can play more styles of music confidently. Alan King is the head of our brass department, and also one of our top ensemble directors. |
