Ben is a graduate of Westbrook High School and was involved in the school's bands from the fifth grade. While in high school, Ben competed in the high school Jazz Band and was honored at being invited to play in the Maine State All-Star High School Jazz festival for three years. He graduated valedictorian from Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville Tennessee. He is a diesel truck mechanic by day. His love of drums began when he started playing at 10 years old. While playing in ensembles at the Tony Boffa School of music, public gigs were always included. Clearly, he was hooked! Ben became the roadie for the Tony Boffa band while a junior in high school setting up and tearing down the band. He would fill in whenever the full time drummer was unable to play. After graduating from college he became the band's drummer and he could not be more pleased at this opportunity to be living his passion. |
